नसीरुद्दीन के रंग में रंगेगा अजमेर

कॉमन कॉज सोसायटी, अजमेर 23 और 24 जनवरी को नसीरुद्दीन शाह के प्ले और उनके दूसरे कार्यक्रमों की तैयारियों को अंतिम रूप देने की कवायद में जुटी है। सोसायटी के प्रमुख सदस्यों की शुक्रवार को आयोजित बैठक में तैयारियों के मद्देनजर हुई प्रगति का जायजा लिया गया। अध्यक्ष रमेश ब्रrावर के अनुसार 24 को प्ले के लिए जवाहर रंगमंच तय किया गया है। इसके लिए प्रवेश डोनर कार्ड से ही संभव हो पाएगा।
शाह इससे पहले 23 की शाम आनासागर की बेहतरी के लिए चल रहे कार्यक्रमों को नजदीक से देखेंगे। शाम को ही वे चौपाटी पर स्थित सोसायटी के एक प्रमुख सदस्य सुनील जालोरी के निवास पर मीडिया से मुखातिब होंगे।
शाह का 24 को तड़के पौ फटने से पहले दरगाह में गरीबनवाज की चौखट पर हाजिरी देंगे। वे बाद में पुष्कर भी जाएंगे। शहर के चुनिंदा छात्रों से उनको रू-ब-रू कराने के कार्यक्रम के लिए जगह को लेकर अभी मशक्कत चल रही है। प्रख्यात उर्दू लेखिका इस्मत चुगताई की तीन कहानियों क्रमश: ‘छुई-मुई’ ‘मुगलबच्च’ और ‘घरवाली’ का ‘इस्मत आपा के नाम’ शीर्षक से मंचन 24 की शाम को करने के बाद नसीरुद्दीन शाह और उनका परिवार अगले दिन जयपुर होते हुए मुंबई लौट जाएगा। े में मिट्टी डंपिंग कराने का सुझाव दिया है। इस पर पालिकाध्यक्ष विचार कर रहे हैं।

नो कंस्ट्रक्शन जोन’ घोषित होगा

उदयपुर की तर्ज पर अजमेर की आनासागर झील भी ‘नो कंस्ट्रक्शन जोन’ घोषित की जाएगी। इसके लिए प्रशासनिक कवायद की जा रही है। नो कंस्ट्रक्शन जोन बनने के बाद झील क्षेत्र में कोई निर्माण नहीं हो सकेगा।
झील संरक्षण के लिए यह कवायद करते हुए नगर निगम झील की सीमाएं निर्धारित करने में जुटा है। राज्य सरकार से अधिसूचना जारी होने के साथ ही झील क्षेत्र में पूरी तरह ‘फ्रिजिंग ऑफ कंस्ट्रक्शन’ लागू हो जाएगा। इसके तहत झील में मौजूदा आवासीय व वाणिज्यिक इमारतों को हटाया नहीं जाएगा लेकिन आइंदा भवनों के भू-उपयोग परिवर्तन, विस्तार या निर्माण की मंजूरी नहीं दी जाएगी।
निगम स्वायत्त शासन विभाग को इस संबंध में प्रस्ताव भेज रहा है। गौरतलब है कि झील संरक्षण व सौंदर्यकरण के तहत केन्द्र सरकार ने जिले की आनासागर झील व पुष्कर सरोवर के लिए 63.53 करोड़ रुपए मंजूर किए थे। इसमें से आनासागर पर 15.28 करोड़ रुपए खर्च होने हैं।
बैठक 3 को
नो कंस्ट्रक्शन जोन के बारे में राय जानने व प्रस्ताव बनाने के लिए 3 जनवरी को तकनीकी कमेटी की बैठक होगी। कमेटी में निगम के सीईओ, यूआईटी के सचिव, वरिष्ठ नगर नियोजक, निगम के आयुक्त शामिल हैं।

AJMER: The centrally-located Anasager lake of Ajmer city has got a fresh lease of life with the Rajasthan High Court directing officials to
remove encroachments in its catchment area.
The existences of centrally-located Anasagar Lake of Ajmer city got a breathe after the High Court intervene and stayed on encroachment in the catchments area. The lake which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan is been converting into a muddy trench in last five years.
UIT on Friday started a survey to check the encroachment on the water channels of this lake..
Since last two years various NGOs were working to save the Anasager lake of Ajmer city. Common Cause Society, an NGO, invited actor Naseeruddin Shah to create awareness on the lake last month. "The motto is to save not only the lake but the beauty and environment of this city," said Doctor Rajendra Tela of Common Cause Society. He said that society has conducted a post card writing and other competitions to make awareness in general public. "It is for the benefit of public and therefore we all come forward to save this lake," added Tela. "We have tried a lot to convince the administration to save the lake but no action was taken and we were forced to approach high court," said
Doctor Reepunjay Singh, member of the society.
The patron of the society and former defence secretary Ajay Vikram Singh filed a public interest petition to save six lakes of the Ajmer district. "The catchments area of Anasager covered an area of sixteen miles. That includes the catchment area of Ajayser, Karkedi, Hathikeda, Boraj, Kotra and Ratidang. "There are lot of encroachments in these area, we want that the flow of water would come smoothly to the main lake," said a member of the society. "It was a time when Anasager had about 25 to 30 feet of water even in the winter season. But now it remains 8 to 9 feet in rainy season," said sources in irrigation department. According to them, the channels which bring water for this lake are blocked and the underground water level too went down.
Meanwhile, district collector Rajesh Yadav formed a team of UIT officials to survey the encroachment done of the water channels of Anasager. The meeting of a committee would be on February 24 who discuss the action plan to make the catchments areas of Anasager free from encroachment. "The district collector also ordered the patwaris to identify illegal constructions in the catchment areas of Anasagar," said an official.
On the other hand, people welcomed the decision of high court and said that this would not give a new looks to the city but also help cleanness of this centrally built lake. "Look polythene bags all over the place in the lake and that stink in surrounding areas" said Laxman Singh of Vaishalli Nagar.

A Division Bench comprising acting Chief Justice RC Gandhi and Justice MN Bhandhari issued the order while hearing a PIL filed by the Common Cause Society yesterday. एक डिवीजन बेंच कार्यकारी मुख्य न्यायाधीश आर सी गांधी और न्यायमूर्ति MN Bhandhari शामिल आदेश जबकि एक PIL साझा क्योंकि सोसायटी द्वारा कल दायर की सुनवाई जारी किए.
The court has also ordered the constitution of a four-member committee for suggesting ways and process for removal of encroachments in the above basin areas. अदालत ने यह भी सुझाव दे तरीके और इसके बाद के संस्करण की बेसिन क्षेत्रों में अतिक्रमण हटाने के लिए प्रक्रिया के लिए एक चार सदस्यीय समिति के गठन का आदेश दिया गया है.

A Division Bench comprising acting Chief Justice RC Gandhi and Justice MN Bhandhari issued the order while hearing a PIL filed by the Common Cause Society yesterday.
The court has also ordered the constitution of a four-member committee for suggesting ways and process for removal of encroachments in the above basin areas.

Locals join hands to save Ajmer lake

In a unique campaign to save Ajmer's 900-year-old Ana Sagar lake, children and citizens of the city joined hands.
The lake is so polluted now that fish don't survive in its waters. Once a famous wetland and stop over for migratory birds, the three-km lake in Ajmer is faced with extinction as human effluents and encroachments are slowly killing off the lake which has shrunk to half its size in just seven years.
"It's going to exist no more if we don't take care as citizens and it is a tourist attraction also," said a demonstrator.
Encroachments in and around the catchment area have also taken their toll. The lake has shrunk to half it's size and the local administration even gave the go ahead for building a colony inside the lake, however, concerned citizens are now fighting a legal battle to save Ana Sagar.
"The quality of water is deteriorating and so is the quantity because of constant building activity in the lake," said Ajai Vikram Singh.
On the 4th of October 2008, some nine thousand students from 42 schools of the city created a chain of some ten kilometres long joining hands to make a statement about the pitiable state of the Ana Sagar lake that forms the heart of Ajmer.
